  • What is GWS? What is the company's mission?
    GWS stands for Global Workforce Solutions and is a provider of satellite office workforce solutions for businesses. Our mission is to build breakthrough workforce solutions for a world without economic borders. Our solutions are faster, dynamic and cost effective—solving inefficiencies that have long defined the status quo. Together with partners and the larger developer community, we identify use cases where satellite workforce offices increase efficiency and let companies focus on their core operation.
  • Who we are?
    GWS is a partnership between Market Mix, MCC and Atlas. All three companies serve American based business with the same goal of workforce solutions.
  • What is our satellite office?
    Our satellite office is a near shore workforce branch that is physically separated from a company’s main office, but works as a part of the Co.
  • How is our billing process?
    Every client receives a monthly flat rate fee for each team and the hours worked.
  • Who is the actual employer, GWS or my company?
    GWS is the employer.
  • How long to get a nearshore workforce office team up and running?
    Between 3-5 weeks.
  • Do I have to complete a 1099 for every employee?
    No! One of the benefits of working with GWS is that you get everything you normally would from an employee, but you have no liability or withholding requirement.
  • How will remote nearshore employees connect to my Co system?
    Exactly the same as in your current operation. They will VPN form their computer and use a IP phone for communication.
  • Can I be a part of the interview process?
    Yes, Interviews will be easily conducted through Zoom, Skype, MS Teams or Google Hangouts.
  • How do I train my employees?
    Through Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, Google Hangouts or in person. We encourage clients to come and spend time with their team in person. This helps new employees understand your company culture and values. But if not possible to travel, our expert Trainees will help you to do the job virtually.
  • What are the minimum requirements of employees to open a near shore workforce office?
    We are flexible for new companies. The greatest cost savings will be experienced at 15 employee threshold.
  • What positions do you offer?
    We offer a wide range of positions and we will custom fit a solution to your company. You send us the job description you would like and we will find a solution for you.
  • How productive are the employees nearshore, especially in Colombia?
    Productivity is comparable to the same position in the USA, and the is an add on benefit: ALL employees are bi-lingual.
  • What time zone is Colombia in?
    Central Time Zone. (Colombia does not observe daylight savings time)
  • Can our employees visit our office in the USA?
    Yes, we encourage it! If employees have a visa, there is no problem traveling the US for additional training or skill transfer. Expenses to your cost.
  • Does GWS do any training prior to our company training?
    GWS does an initial workshop. Employees learn how to use the systems, basic US geography, time zones, terminology and other information that will allow them to easily integrate with your company.
  • Are there safety measures for each office?
    Yes, each employee has a key fob or finger print scanner that must be used to gain access to the building and office space. All buildings are class A with internal and external CCTV security cameras. All of our offices are PCI compliant.
  • Are there data security measures?
    All employees sign a non-disclosure agreement. Each employee is dedicated to one company and never moved from one company to another. All USB ports are disabled unless requested by the client. All work is done through your company's VPN access. GWS does not store any company data. There are no printers in the office unless you request them. All employees have their own workstation.
  • How secure is the GWS IT infrastructure?
    GWS infrastructure is 9001 certified and have a strong network typology which guarantees full redundancy. GWS requires security training for all employees.
  • What equipment does GWS provide?
    Each employee is provided with a desk, chair, computer and a IP Phone. Other than all the other Building facilities like leisure space, kitchen, lockers, parking, etc.
